Jamie was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. While at Wichita State University, she competed on the policy debate team. This experience in a competitive argumentative setting inspired her to pursue a legal career where research and advocacy is encouraged. While in law school, Jamie competed on the Goodell Moot Court Council where she was a finalist at the Evans A. Evans Constitutional Law Competition and competed at the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition. Jamie currently resides in Lenexa, Kansas with her boyfriend and three pets.
